This was so fun to listen to since I’ve literally never been out of America (save to the Bahamas). I need to get out more.
Patrique and Gwen never got lonely in ol Japan?

I donated some money for you! Five bucks EACH! Don’t worry, I took it out of my Kiva account.
Thanks for your hard work, my friends.

Re: Weed’s question. Loneliness will get you no matter where you are.

Hey guys!
I lived in Africa for 2 years in the Peace Corps and experienced all of this.
I noticed that most of my fellow volunteers had some kind of comfort food/product that they really missed. I didn’t have that. When they had access to it, they were happy. When they didn’t, you could see something was wrong.
But as time went on, I did miss stuff from home. I missed paved roads and good transportation. I missed anonymity. I missed little things. Things I could never have in West Africa.
Oh well, just a thought I had.
Great podcast.
